THE Under-Secretary of State for India presents his compliments to the Under- Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and, by direction of Viscount Morley, forwards herewith, for the information of the Secretary of State, with reference to India Office letter of the 29th June, 1909, copy of a telegram from the Viceroy, dated the 15th January, relative to the conclusion of a treaty with Bhutan.

January 15, 1910. BHUTAN. See your despatch of the 25th June, 1909. Conclusion on the 8th January of a new treaty on lines indicated by you, with an increase of subsidy by 50,000 rupees, is reported by Bell. Report, when received, will be forwarded to you.
